I’m a retired City of Fremont Fire Department 911 Dispatcher. Currently, I’m an Independent Mary Kay Beauty Consultant & Independent PartyLite Consultant (Home Decor & Candles)

What do you like best about Rotary
Connection to be aware of the needs & concerns around us locally & internationally. Having the opportunity to be a part of making a difference.

What do you like best about our club
Projects, fundraiser & friendships. I look forward to our annual Youth Speech Contest. The speakers are students from the local high schools. They give me hope & faith in how they think about their futures and their ideas on how to make our world a better place to live.

The good it does locally, regionally and globally to better the basic need of everyday peoples.

What do you like best about our club
Our club’s friendliness, perseverance and the amount of community service projects we have taken on over the years and completed. Quite amazing if you look back over our years in existence. And that’s the rest of the story.

I’ve been in Rotary since 2011, about six years in all.

What is/was your profession
I’m a retired Registered Nurse. In all, I’ve spent over 30 years in hospital and office nursing, from Allergy to Cardiology to Oncology to Out-Patient Surgery. I’m glad to be “retired!”

What do you like best about Rotary
The friendships and doing helpful things with those friends is the best part of Rotary. “Many hands make light work” is the way to get many things done.

What do you like best about our club
Our club is small, but we do a LOT of good things, locally and globally.

My ability to help many by joining in on a work project with a few, much bigger reach than I have on my own

I joined the Rotary Club of Mission San Jose in the Fall of 2003.

What is/was your profession
My Rotary classification is “Insurance” because I’m a State Farm agent in Fremont.

What do you like best about Rotary
I enjoy working with our Interact high school youth, watching them develop their leadership and interpersonal skills, and I also enjoy our service projects such as the Rancho Higuera Adobe projects and our Corazon home building project in Mexico that we last did in 2008 when I was our club president.

What do you like best about our club
I enjoy the happy, supportive and close family feeling we have whenever and wherever we gather as MSJ Rotary Club members!

I have been a member of our club for 33 and 1/2 years.

What is/was your profession
I am still working as a Fremont attorney. I have been in practice since 1979. I take cases primarily in the area of estate planning, probate and helping with family law issues including guardianship, conservatorship, adoption and divorce.

What do you like best about Rotary
I like being part of an international organization that is well respected and does much good in the world as well as locally and nationally.

What do you like best about our club
Our club has a wonderful family style dynamic that can’t exist in a larger group. We all have different backgrounds, skills and personalities that make our projects and interactions interesting and fun as well as productive. I love that we are hands on with local projects as well as financially supporting other worthy causes.
