February 7, 2020 - 12:15 pm - 1:30 pm

37296 Mission Blvd
Fremont, CA 94536

We normally meet as a club every Friday from 12:15 – 1:30pm at Papillon Restaurant, located at 37296 Mission Blvd, Fremont, CA 94536. Each meeting includes a fun surprise and often features a guest speaker.

Speaker BIO:

Henry Baum is a retired Mechanical Engineer who spent his 45+ year career in the telecommunications/fiber optic industry. Corporate mergers and acquisitions moved him from Chicago to Phoenix to Boca Raton to Silicon Valley. That last move found him living in Livermore and commuting through Niles Canyon. His love of the canyon grew into becoming President of the Pacific Locomotive Association, owner/operators of the Niles Canyon Railway.

Henry will speak today about the Transcontinental Railway and its links to Niles Canyon and the districts of Fremont.

I will have a PowerPoint presentation.
